Ellipse is an user-friendly image analysis program, running under MS Windows, supplied with standard plug-in modules. In basic configuration, Ellipse allows elementary image manipulation, enhancement, processing, detection and quantitative analysis of various objects of interest (read more about Ellipse features ). The integration of image analysis algorithms into the environment of graphic editor allows the application of various semi-interactive techniques. See a few examples bellow.

Ellipse serves also as a basic environment for more sophisticated program modules developed "on-request" by our team. Ellipse is proper also for external developers trying to make Ellipse plug-in modules themselves. Written in Microsoft Visual C++, Ellipse offers Class library, Software Development Kit (SDK), and Plugin Wizard that allows simple generation of plug-in initial code. Plug-in development support is concerning both purchased Ellipse as well as with free demo version. However, in the latter case, the module works with a limited subset of images.
